but the fan favorite was by far Cameron Mitchell,
who was almost sure to win until he *gasp* quit the competition over his religious beliefs. In fact Ryan Murphy even tried to talk him into staying, and then wrote the Joe character based on him. Also Damian would have been sent home that week had Cameron not quit, but Cam was happy he saved his best friend and later roommate from elimination.
